Technology

 

Technology is a mandatory subject in which is applied from year 7 to 8, this subject is to introduce the Design Process and how it's required to find a solutions. Without technology human wouldn't exist, therefore technology is applied in our TAS subject in order to help the youth to understand the grounding of computing.

 

This subject is classified into six (6) different subjects:

 

a) ICT/multimedia 

 

b) Timber

 

c) Food

 

d) Textiles

 

e) Lastics

 

f) Graphics

 

The purpose of this subject(technology) is to develop students ability and responsibility throughout producing, designing and evaluating(asses) for the needs and opportunities as well as to understand the different factors that put up to a successful designer and producer.

 

 

The outcomes from this subjects are:

 

1) Students are able to develop a knowledge and undersanding of designing (theory and process) in different kind of situations.

 

2) Students are expected to understand and appreciate the relation within design, technology, society and the environment itself.

 

3) Students are able to be creative and also to comprehend the transition of technology innovations in different context

 

4) Students is suppossed to be skilled through the process of design, produce and asses the quality that's given in each projects.

 

5) Students are expected to be able to research, communicate and manage their design and production.

 

6)Students are to understand the knowledge about using a computer in a various way.
